The focus of hospice is controlling pain and easing symptoms. We address patients' physical problems, and their psychological and spiritual needs as well. Hospice accepts death as a natural part of life, seeking neither to hasten nor prolong the dying process.
Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley enables people to live their last few weeks and months as fully as possible, with dignity, usually in the comfort of their own home. Hospice provides help to family members both during and after the dying process.
