Living Shattered Dreams is a six-week grief workshop intended to for individuals left behind by a suicide. This program will help those navigating loss from suicide explore the dynamics of their grief and learn about healthy ways to cope with this unique type of loss. The workshop will take place at the Hospice Center every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30pm beginning September 20th. Registrations is required for this workshop by September 13th.
Coping with Grief During the Holidays will offers tips, tools and strategies to help participants approach the demands of the seasons. Additional materials, including A Holiday Coping Plan will be provided to participants. Coping with Grief During the Holidays will meet on November 18th at 2:00pm and December 9th at 2:00pm at The Hospice Center. Individuals should contact Kay Deperno at Hospice to register.
On-going support groups that will be offered in the fall include Surviving Widowhood which meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 10:00am at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Massena and Grief Gardners which meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 4:30pm at The Hospice Center.
