Education Fundraiser

The Radiothon features interviews and testimonials from individuals who have experienced the special kind of compassionate care and support Hospice provides firsthand.  These include, friends and family members whose loved ones were cared for by hospice, healthcare providers who collaborate with hospice, community members who have participated in education or support programs, and Hospice volunteers who offer their time to help comfort patients.

Often, we find people in the community think they have an idea of what hospice care is. In many senses they are correct, but so many people don’t realize that we are much more than just end of life care. Hospice offers families the time to make more memories. This event is our best educational tool.”

Individuals interested in sharing their story may contact Kellie Hitchman at (315) 265-3105 or khitchman@hospiceslv.org.

Hospice has partnered with Little Italy Canton once again to award a prize to ever pledge made during the Radiothon.  Additional prizes will also be raffled throughout the day.

Tune in to the 11th Annual Radiothon for Hospice on Thursday, November 7th by listening to the following stations: WMSA/1340, WLFK/95.3, and WQTK 92.7.

Stations offering support of the Radiothon for Hospice also include WVLF 96.1, WNCQ 102.9, WYSX 96.7 and WSNN 99.3. In the meantime, pledges can be made online at www.hospiceradiothon.org or by phone on November 7th
