Please joins us on Thursday, June 8th for our 4th Annual Caring for the Caregiver Event. This free health fair is intended to provide caregivers with resources and tools and connect them with local services that will support them as they care for their loved one. The event is free and open to any caregiver in St. Lawrence County.
This year’s theme is Mapping the Caregiver Road.
Many caregivers are unaware of the need to plan for possible problems that may occur “down the road” on their care-giving journey. This year’s event will focus on the potential potholes and detours that may affect a caregiver’s ability to make it through their long journey. The event will focus on healthy ways to overcome these obstacles and roadblocks to avoid caregiver stress and burnout. There will be representatives from agencies throughout St. Lawrence County who serve caregivers. They will be available to answer questions, offer screenings and supply tools, resources and free support materials.
