Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley is teaming up with Canton-Potsdam Hospital to present Dying To Talk: Conversation About Facing Death and Embracing Life – a series aimed at uncovering the myths surrounding end-of-life planning.

This group-directed discussion will enable participants to discuss topics such as advanced care planning, health care options, end-of-life care, funeral arrangements, death and dying, and other topics our culture tends to shy away from.  This segment will feature a representative from the St. Lawrence County Funeral Directors Association who will be available to answer questions related to the funeral planning process.

The event will be held in the upstairs conference rooms at Canton-Potsdam Hospital located at 50 Leroy Street in Potsdam.  A light dinner will be provided.  Please RSVP to Deborah C. Lauther at 315-261-5413 or dchaselauther@cphospital.org.

Hospice and CPH warmly invite you to help abolish the stigma and join in a lively conversation about a subject we shouldn’t be so quiet about – DEATH!
