Coping with Grief During the Holidays

2019-2020 Coping with Grief During the Holidays Workshops

The holidays are often the most challenging time of year when grieving the death of a loved one.  Family traditions can be powerful reminders of those who have died.  Hospice encourages the bereaved to find positive ways to cope with loss and change.

The Living with Grief During the Holidays workshops will offer tips, tools and strategies to help you navigate the demands of the seasons.  Each session will offer a different perspective for approaching the corresponding holiday. They are free and open to anyone struggling with the death of a loved one, and to those offering comfort to the bereaved.

Materials, including a Holiday Coping Plan, will be provided to participants, as well as a information, resources and therapeutic discussion.

The workshops will be held on Saturdays , December 7th and January 11th from 2:00-3:00p.m. here at the Hospice Center on Route 11.

Those interested can pre-register by contacting Donna Trimm-Calk at (315)265-3105 or dtrimmcalk@hospiceslv.org.
