Tastes To Go: Take and Bake Fundraiser

It’s that time of year again; as warm summer days transition to crisp, cool nights we can be sure fall has arrived in the North Country.  The changing of the season brings great excitement as we begin planning our popular gourmet brunch.

Traditionally, we would invite you to bring your friends and family out for an afternoon of fine dining and spirited conversation.  However, due to the current circumstances we all find ourselves in because of COVID-19, we are not able to host Tastes of Autumn in the traditional style.

Since we can’t ask you to join us, we have decided to bring Tastes to you!

Tastes To Go: A Take & Bake Fundraiser for Hospice, will take place on Sunday, October 18th.   Details about menu options and tickets are listed below.

All meals will be prepared and packaged to be baked at home and come with fresh spring mix salads and a cannoli dessert.  Order a meal for yourself or feed the whole family with this year’s options!

Orders can be picked up at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm (2043 SH 68, Canton) on Sunday October 18th starting at 11:30 a.m.

Pick up times will be assigned and sent with your order confirmation to help minimize contact.  Please be sure to include a valid email address with your order.  Deadline to order is October 9th.  Download an order form.

 

Menu and Pricing

Although the look and location are different, we are welcoming back the experienced guest chefs you’ve come to know for years.  Dr. Bill Orlando (Orlando Chiropractic), Chef John VanKennen (SUNY Potsdam), and Chef Amy Conger (1844 House) have returned to offer you home-style meals that you can enjoy in the safety and comfort of your home.

All food preparations and packaging will adhere to NYSDOH COVID-19 guidelines.

 

All orders come with fresh salad and cannoli for dessert!

 

Sausage & Penne alla Vodka

Prepared by Chef John VanKennen

Penne alla vodka with Sweet Italian Sausage, topped with Asiago Cheese.

 

Seafood Pasta Bake

Prepared by Chef Amy Conger

An assortment of fish and shellfish in a creamy Sherry Broth with spinach and mushrooms over Cavatappi pasta.

 

Chicken Parmigiana with Medigan Lasagna

Prepared by Dr. Bill Orlando

Fresh chicken cutlet coated in Italian breadcrumbs and fried to perfection, topped with Whole Mile Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheeses.  Served over penne pasta coated in a Bolognese                Meat sauce.

 

All orders come with fresh salad and cannoli for dessert!
